"There is nothing like being on
the open road, not only
witnessing God's beauty, but
actually capturing it."
Nicole Kirkland
Fine Art and the Bike
Nicole and her husband love to travel the countryside on their
motorcycles. Some of Nicole's landscape shots are taken while she is
riding on the back with her husband. Both Nicole and her husband ride
BMW touring bikes; Nicole rides the R 1200 RT and her husband rides
the K 1200 LT.
Charcoal Drawings
Creativity takes on many forms and Nicole brings these forms to life in
many ways. She is a true artist, one that can bring that which is not
visible to light. Using only the lightness and darkness of charcoal, she
renders drawings that are so life-like you would think they are one of
her photographs.
In 2009, Nicole was the featured artist at the Taste of Tulsa for her
charcoal drawings.
